SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill requires bigquery, cm360, and includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) and assets (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill provides the capability to ingest, process, and attribute data from Campaign Manager 360 Data Transfer v2 (DTv2) logs for custom attribution and reconciliation purposes, filling the gap between CM360 UI attribution and a detailed analytical model.

Core Features & Use Cases

Data Ingestion: Load raw log-level data from DTv2 files into a BigQuery dataset.
Data Reconciliation: Compare attributed activity counts with Floodlight reports to ensure accuracy.
Custom Attribution: Build custom attribution models for detailed analysis not available in CM360 UI.

Quick Start

Load and process your DTv2 log-level files using this skill to create a custom attribution model for your Campaign Manager 360 data.

FAQPage Schema

How do I build a custom attribution model using Campaign Manager 360 Data Transfer v2 logs?▼

Build a custom attribution model with Campaign Manager 360 Data Transfer v2 by loading raw log-level impression, click, and activity files into BigQuery, then applying custom attribution logic and user ID stitching for detailed analysis beyond the CM360 UI.

What is data reconciliation against Floodlight totals in CM360?▼

Data reconciliation against Floodlight totals in CM360 compares your processed attributed activity counts from DTv2 logs with Floodlight reports to ensure your custom data ingestion and attribution logic is accurate.

Do I need BigQuery to process Campaign Manager 360 DTv2 files?▼

Yes, you need BigQuery to process Campaign Manager 360 DTv2 files. The Skill relies on BigQuery to ingest raw log-level data and execute custom attribution modeling and data reconciliation queries.

Can I stitch user IDs across impression and click logs from CM360 Data Transfer?▼

Yes, you can stitch user IDs across impression, click, and activity logs from CM360 Data Transfer. The processing logic supports user ID stitching to build cohesive custom attribution models from raw DTv2 data.

When should I use custom attribution with CM360 DTv2 logs instead of UI reporting?▼

Use custom attribution with CM360 DTv2 logs instead of UI reporting when you need detailed, log-level analytical modeling, user ID stitching, and data reconciliation capabilities that the standard CM360 UI attribution cannot provide.

What match table data is supported for Campaign Manager 360 data reconciliation?▼

Campaign Manager 360 data reconciliation supports impression, click, activity, and match table data. Processing these raw DTv2 log files enables accurate attribution modeling and validation against Floodlight totals.
