What files are generated for a Decentraland scene project structure?▼

A Decentraland scene project structure generates scene.json, package.json, tsconfig.json, and src/index.ts. These files configure parcels, TypeScript compilation, and runtime constraints for SDK7 development.

Can I configure multi-parcel layouts in scene.json?▼

Yes, scene.json supports multi-parcel layouts. The schema includes configurations for parcels, spawnPoints, permissions, and featureToggles to define the spatial boundaries and runtime rules of your scene.

Do I need TypeScript to build a scene from scratch in Decentraland?▼

TypeScript is required to build a scene from scratch in Decentraland. The scaffold generates a tsconfig.json and a src/index.ts entry file to establish the recommended TypeScript project layout for SDK7.

What are the limitations of manually setting up a Decentraland SDK7 scene?▼

Manual setup risks missing critical schema configurations for parcels, spawnPoints, and featureToggles in scene.json. Scaffolding ensures the correct project structure and runtime constraints are established from the start.
