What problem does it solve?

Forge a complete Game Design Document from a vague idea by guiding an adaptive, pillar-by-pillar interview that yields a vault-grounded design contract (GDD.md) plus a rendered PDF and a decisions registry.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Adaptive Socratic interview across pillars (Pitch, Loop Economy, Gameplay, Visual/UI Identity, Environment, Audio Identity, Vertical Slice) with an adversarial audit to stress-test decisions.
  • Vault-grounded: every design choice is anchored to MOCs and vault notes, producing a coherent GDD that includes moodboards, beat sheets, and the production plan.
  • Output bundle includes GDD.md, GDD.pdf, decisions.yaml, and a .gdd-scratch.md for resumable sessions; supports retrofit/resume/confront-only modes.

Quick Start

Start a new project: say "let's design a game" and let forge-gdd guide the interview to lock a complete GDD in Vault/40-Projects/<slug>.
