Frequently Asked Questions about minemap-business-flood-and-shadow

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I run flood analysis for a specific zone in MineMap?▼

To run flood analysis in MineMap, load a scene and execute FloodAnalysis with a predefined area, supplying positions, minHeight, maxHeight, and color ramps to simulate water rise for disaster prevention.

Can I perform shadow analysis for daylight assessment in MineMap?▼

Yes, you can perform shadow analysis in MineMap using ShadowAnalysis to model daylight distribution, integrating with map.style.sunLight to support daylight assessment and environmental planning.

Does MineMap support offline flood analysis for demo scenarios?▼

Yes, MineMap supports offline flood analysis via the FloodAnalysisOffline variant, enabling zone-based simulations and playback for demo and teaching scenarios without live data connectivity.

What inputs are required for zone-based flood simulations in MineMap?▼

Zone-based flood simulations require core inputs including positions for the target area, minHeight and maxHeight to define water levels, and color ramps for visualization, while maintaining scene stability.

Why is my MineMap flood analysis not rendering the simulation correctly?▼

Flood analysis rendering issues in MineMap often stem from compromised scene stability during loading state, or incorrectly configured core inputs like positions, minHeight, maxHeight, and color ramps.
