SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill addresses the challenge of designing and implementing effective referral programs that drive sustainable user acquisition and viral growth.

Core Features & Use Cases

Incentive Modeling: Choose between one-sided, two-sided, or tiered reward structures to optimize for your specific product and user base.
Viral Loop Analysis: Calculate your viral coefficient (K-factor) and cycle time to predict and improve self-sustaining growth.
Implementation Guidance: Access templates for referral emails, landing pages, and a comprehensive technical checklist for fraud prevention and tracking.

Quick Start

Use the referral-program skill to design a two-sided incentive structure for a new subscription-based mobile app.

FAQPage Schema

How do I design a referral program with the right incentive structure for my digital product?▼

To design a referral program, you must model incentive structures by choosing between one-sided, two-sided, or tiered reward systems. This optimizes your user acquisition by aligning rewards with your specific product and user base.

How do I calculate the viral coefficient for my user acquisition campaigns?▼

You calculate the viral coefficient (K-factor) and cycle time through viral loop analysis. This measures how many new users each existing user brings in, allowing you to predict and optimize for self-sustaining growth.

What is a viral growth loop and when do I need one for my marketing strategy?▼

A viral growth loop is a self-sustaining user acquisition cycle where existing users invite new ones. You need one when your marketing strategy requires scalable, incentive-driven growth rather than paid acquisition alone.

How can I prevent fraud in my referral tracking system?▼

Preventing fraud in referral tracking requires technical implementation of a comprehensive checklist. This ensures accurate performance measurement by validating user identities and preventing artificial incentive exploitation.

What's the best way to implement referral emails and landing pages?▼

The best way to implement referral emails and landing pages is by using pre-built templates. This accelerates technical implementation while ensuring tracking parameters and incentive messaging are correctly configured.
