FAQPage Schema

How do I resolve ship subsystem rules for tactical decisions during a campaign?▼

Resolve ship subsystem rules by applying the Skill's tactical framework to crew operations across armory, science bay, med bay, housing, and warp drive systems. It enforces frontmatter identifiers and loads rules from the Markdown body to adjudicate tactical actions and disruption handling.

What are ship subsystem tactical rules and when do I need them?▼

Ship subsystem tactical rules govern activation prerequisites, risk factors, and disruption handling for critical ship areas like the warp drive and armory. You need them when adjudicating crew operations and tactical effects during spaceship combat or exploration scenarios.

How do I apply disruption checks to warp drive tactical actions?▼

Apply disruption checks to warp drive actions by loading the relevant rules from the Markdown body and evaluating the tactical effect families and risk factors associated with the specific crew operation. The Skill provides a quick ruling framework for these adjudications.

Can I use this tactical ruling framework for both combat and exploration ship subsystems?▼
