What problem does it solve?
This Skill removes the friction of drafting consistent, context-aware UX specifications for game screens, HUDs, and interaction patterns by reading existing design artifacts and guiding the user through a structured, incremental authoring workflow.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Context-aware reads: Automatically gathers game concept, player journey, GDD UI requirements, art direction, and technical input methods to ground each spec.
- Section-by-section authoring: Creates skeleton files, detects retrofit opportunities, and walks the user through Context → Questions → Options → Decision → Draft → Approval → Write cycles for each section.
- Multiple modes: Produces per-screen UX specs, HUD designs, or an interaction pattern library and supports incremental edits to existing specs.
Quick Start
Ask the ux-design skill to draft or update a screen spec by naming the target, for example "design the main menu" when prompted.
