What problem does it solve?
This Skill helps you avoid vague, brittle UI planning by guiding you through context-aware UX specification for a screen, flow, or HUD, grounded in your GDD, player journey, and accessibility requirements.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Section-by-section UX authoring: Produces a complete UX spec with purpose, player context, navigation, layout zones, interaction model, states, events, data needs, accessibility, and acceptance criteria.
- HUD and interaction-pattern support: Creates a HUD design document or an interaction pattern library, optionally aggregating requirements for HUD across all GDD UI requirements.
- Context-first planning: Reads game concept, player journey (if present), relevant GDD UI Requirements, existing UX specs, accessibility and art direction, and input/platform preferences to keep decisions aligned with your studio’s constraints.
Quick Start
Use the ux-design skill to generate a UX spec for "main menu" by asking the studio to design it section-by-section.
